2008 September 27th

Hey everyone! It's been awhile eh? It's almost my favorite time of year ^^, and by favorite time I mean Halloween Time! Even though it's still only September, hehe....I get excited ahead of time ^^

So how are all the book lovers?? Read any good books since the last update (centuries ago XD)? I know I'm looking forward to Eldest!!! Finally! I've been waiting for year for the next book to come out. In the meantime I've read a few pretty cool books.

The Cabinet of Curiosities by Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child is a great mystery book. It's part of a series of Mysteries with the same agent (Pendergast). This one in particular is very good, especially if you're interested in history with just a touch of horror (it has some intense parts).

I've also been working on The Annotated Elminster by Ed Greenwood. Another Forgotten Realms book, if you like Forgotten Realms, or even if you don't - the Annotated Elminster is quite amazing. Though it is actually three smaller books put into one collective book. So you can read all of the enthralling story at once. These books tell the story of Elminster a young boy at the beginning who goes through many trials and trouble to avenge his family and eventually become one of the greatest most powerful mages ever known.
Ed Greenwood is really an amazing writer so even if you don't like Elminster, I recommend checking out his books.

I can't remember if I recommended these before, but the Blue Bloods Books by Melissa De La Cruz are amazing! At least if you're into vampires, it's not a dark and creepy series so much though. But it does put an interesting spin on the idea of Vampires. The next book is coming out in October!! Sorry I get a little over excited x.x But the three books thus far are: Blue Bloods, Masquerade, and the one coming out is Revelations. Check them out if you're interested...

I'll post some more later ^^ For now, what has everyone else been reading???
